Immersive Design and New Digital Competences for the Rehabilitation and Valorization of the Built Heritage

 

Within the scope of the Erasmus + Program “Collaboration for the Exchange of Innovation and Good Practices”, Faculty of Architecture faculty member Assoc. Dr. The project entitled “ID4Excellence: Immersive Design and New Digital Competences for the Rehabilitation and Valorization of the Built Heritage”, in which OzU is a partner under the leadership of Alessandro Camiz, was entitled to be supported. 

In order to develop and renew existing education programs with a design approach supported by up-to-date VR technology, to determine methods and tools for interventions to protect the built cultural heritage through temporal narratives in both virtual and dimensional environments, to increase the effectiveness of teaching and learning through an inclusive practice, to use teamwork and current technologies. Increasing the cooperation between the EU and educational institutions in order to ensure the use of synergy in an integrated manner and to increase employment is among the objectives of the project.

In addition, for the local dissemination of new training programs; will be practiced through local courses leveled through instructor training and aimed at both tertiary students and graduate architects, engineers and professionals in the construction industry.
