İsmail Can Yağmur won first place in the “24th Alper Atalay Best Student Paper” Competition in the Image Processing and Computer Vision Track with his paper titled “CS-REG-NET: A Self-Supervised Visual-State-space based Architecture for Cross-Spectral Registration of Thermal and Optical Imagery.” at the the 33rd IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference.
He also won third place in the “Master’s Thesis” category of the 5DT Thesis Competition with his thesis titled “Self-Supervised Deep Learning for Multispectral Image Matching” written under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hasan Fehmi Ateş.
